
Adrian Rawlins
Adrian Rawlins is a British actor born in Stoke-on-Trent on March 27, 1958. He is known to international audiences for playing James Potter, Harry's father, in the *Harry Potter* film series. His career, however, spans film, television, and extensive theatre work. He had his first leading role in the acclaimed 1989 television film *The Woman in Black*. His other significant film credits include Lars von Trier's *Breaking the Waves* and *Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself*. On television, he received praise for his role as Nikolai Fomin in the award-winning HBO miniseries *Chernobyl*. Also active in theatre, Rawlins co-founded the Actors' Touring Company and has worked with the Royal National Theatre. Although he has not received major individual awards, he has been part of casts for productions that have earned numerous accolades, such as the Screen Actors Guild Award won by the ensemble of *Chernobyl*.
