Albert Høeberg
**Albert Høeberg (1879-1949)** was a Danish actor, an eminent figure of silent cinema, primarily active with Nordisk Film during the golden age of national cinematography.
Known for his imposing presence and dignified bearing, Høeberg specialized in supporting yet impactful roles. He often portrayed authoritative figures, aristocrats, officers, or characters with an aura of power or menace.
Among his most significant films are *Den hvide slavehandel* (The White Slave Trade, 1910), a pioneering work in the social drama genre, and August Blom's epic *Atlantis* (1913), where he played the captain. He also took part in *Himmelskibet* (The Sky Ship, 1918), one of the earliest and most influential science fiction films. His career contributed to defining the international success of Danish cinema of that era.
