
Aleksandar Mikic
Aleksandar Mikic is a Macedonian actor, born in Skopje in 1959. Considered one of the most important figures in the theatre and cinema of North Macedonia, he is a long-standing member of the Macedonian National Theatre (MNT) company, where he has played dozens of leading roles in a repertoire ranging from classics to contemporary works. His film career is equally significant, with roles in notable national and international productions such as *Do balčak* (To the Hilt), *Osloboduvanje na Skopje* (The Liberation of Skopje), *Lazar*, and the critically acclaimed documentary *Medena zemja* (Honeyland). Throughout his career, Mikic has received numerous awards for his intense performances. Among the most prestigious are the "Vojdan Chernodrinski" award, the highest Macedonian theatrical honor, which he has won on multiple occasions, and the "Risto Shishkov" award for best acting performance, solidifying his status as a versatile and esteemed artist.
