Alex Lutz (Strasbourg, August 24, 1978) is a French actor, director, screenwriter, and comedian. He began his career in theater, where he earned his first accolades, including two Molière Awards for his shows. He achieved widespread recognition with the television comedy duo *Catherine et Liliane*, which he created and performed with Bruno Sanches for the show *Le Petit Journal* on Canal+. In cinema, he established himself as a filmmaker and actor with the film *Guy* (2018), a mockumentary he directed and starred in, which chronicles the life of a declining French singer. His performance earned him the prestigious César Award for Best Actor in 2019.
