
Amy Poehler
Amy Poehler is an American actress, comedian, screenwriter, producer, and director. She began her career in improvisational theater, co-founding the group Upright Citizens Brigade. Her prominence grew exponentially from 2001 to 2008 as a cast member of *Saturday Night Live*, where she co-anchored the acclaimed "Weekend Update" segment. Her most iconic role is that of Leslie Knope in the sitcom *Parks and Recreation* (2009–2015), a performance that earned her a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. In film, she has starred in movies such as *Mean Girls*, *Baby Mama*, and *Sisters*, often alongside Tina Fey. She also voiced the character of Joy in the Pixar animated film *Inside Out*. As a producer, she has contributed to successful series such as *Russian Doll*.
