Anabel Shaw, born Marjorie Henshaw (1921–2010), was an American actress whose career was primarily concentrated in the cinema of the 1940s. She is best known for her role as the female lead in the psychological thriller *Shock* (1946), where she starred alongside Vincent Price. In the same year, she also appeared in a small part in Frank Capra's timeless classic *It's a Wonderful Life*. Her filmography includes significant roles in film noir and B-movies, such as Fritz Lang's *Secret Beyond the Door* (1947) and *Killer at Large* (1947). Despite a relatively brief career, Shaw was noted for her versatility, working in dramas, crime films, and comedies. In the early 1950s, her work shifted to television, with appearances in popular series like *The Lone Ranger* and *The Cisco Kid*, before she permanently retired from acting. Although she did not receive any major awards, she is recognized as a distinctive face of post-war Hollywood cinema, appreciated for her solid performances in genre films.
