Angela Burnett is a Bermudian environmentalist, author, and climate change expert known for her work on climate resilience in Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Her career has focused on disaster risk management and climate adaptation, holding roles such as Climate Change Coordinator for the Government of Montserrat and collaborating with the Association of Caribbean States. She is the co-author of the non-fiction book *The Irma Diaries: Compelling Survivor Stories from The Virgin Islands*, which collects the testimonies of survivors of Hurricane Irma in 2017. For this work, she received the award for Best Regional Non-Fiction at the 2020 Independent Publisher Book Awards. Her commitment earned her significant recognition in 2023, when she was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her services to Bermuda and for her climate change advocacy.
