Anita Pallenberg
Anita Pallenberg (1942-2017) was a German-Italian actress, model, and fashion designer, a key figure of the 1960s counterculture. She began her career as a model, soon becoming an icon of Swinging London. Her film career is marked by emblematic roles: she starred in *A Degree of Murder* (1967), with a soundtrack by Brian Jones, and played the Great Tyrant in Roger Vadim's cult film *Barbarella* (1968). Her most celebrated role remains in the controversial *Performance* (1970), alongside Mick Jagger, which was followed by appearances in arthouse films such as Marco Ferreri's *Dillinger Is Dead* (1969). Later in her career, she took part in productions like *Mister Lonely* (2007) and *Chéri* (2009). Beyond cinema, Pallenberg is universally recognized as an influential style icon. Her bohemian and rock and roll aesthetic profoundly influenced the fashion of the era and the image of the Rolling Stones, establishing her as a muse and a defining figure of that decade.
