Ann Reinking (1949-2020) was an American actress, dancer, and choreographer, known for her long professional and personal association with director and choreographer Bob Fosse. Her Broadway career included notable roles in shows such as *Pippin*, *Dancin'*, and replacing Gwen Verdon as Roxie Hart in the original 1975 production of *Chicago*. In film, she is known for her performance in Fosse's semi-autobiographical film *All That Jazz* (1979) and for her role as Grace Farrell in *Annie* (1982). After retiring from performing, she achieved great success as a choreographer. In 1997, she won the Tony Award for Best Choreography for the highly successful revival of *Chicago*, which she choreographed "in the style of Bob Fosse." She also received an Olivier Award in 2001 for her work on the musical revue *Fosse*, cementing her reputation as one of the foremost interpreters and custodians of his artistic legacy.
