Anna Faris (Baltimore, November 29, 1976) is an American actress, producer, and author, known primarily for her comedic roles. She rose to international fame playing the character of Cindy Campbell in the *Scary Movie* parody series (2000-2006). Her film career includes roles in successful movies such as *Lost in Translation* (2003), *My Super Ex-Girlfriend* (2006), and *The House Bunny* (2008), which she also produced. She also lent her voice to the character of Sam Sparks in the *Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs* animated film series.
