Anne-Louise Lambert
Anne-Louise Lambert, born in Brisbane in 1955, is an Australian actress internationally known primarily for her iconic role as Miranda St. John in Peter Weir's film *Picnic at Hanging Rock* (1975). Her ethereal performance and angelic image were instrumental in defining the film's mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere, establishing her as a symbol of the Australian New Wave. After this success, she continued her career working both in Australia, in television series such as *The Box*, and in Europe. In particular, she acted in several Italian film productions during the 1980s, including Gianfranco Angelucci's *Miele di donna* (1981) and Cesare Ferrario's *The Monster of Florence* (1986). Although her film work became less frequent over time, she continued to work in theatre and television. In recent decades, she has embarked on a new career as a psychotherapist, gradually stepping away from the public eye.
