Arsinée Khanjian is a Canadian actress, producer, and activist of Armenian descent, born in Beirut, Lebanon. Her career is inextricably linked to her artistic and personal partnership with director Atom Egoyan, her husband, for whom she has portrayed complex and memorable roles. Among her most acclaimed performances are those in films such as *Calendar* (1993), *Exotica* (1994), *The Sweet Hereafter* (1997), and especially *Ararat* (2002), a film that explores the theme of the Armenian genocide and its cultural legacy. In addition to her work with Egoyan, she has worked with other internationally renowned directors, demonstrating her versatility. For her talent, Khanjian has received numerous accolades, including two Genie Awards, Canada's most prestigious film award: one for Best Actress in a Leading Role for *Exotica* and another for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for *Ararat*, solidifying her status as a leading figure in art-house cinema.
