
Arthur Malet
Arthur Malet (born Vivian R. Malet; Lee-on-the-Solent, September 24, 1927 – Santa Monica, May 18, 2013) was a British actor and voice actor, known for his long career as a character actor in film and television. His distinctive appearance and talent for eccentric roles made him a familiar face to the general public. Among his most celebrated performances are his role as Mr. Dawes Jr. in the Disney classic *Mary Poppins* (1964) and as Tootles in Steven Spielberg's *Hook* (1991). He also lent his voice to the character of King Eidilleg in the Disney animated film *The Black Cauldron* (1985). His career includes dozens of appearances in popular American television series, solidifying his reputation as a versatile actor.
