
Banlop Lomnoi
Banlop Lomnoi is a Thai actor, primarily known for his collaborations with director Apichatpong Weerasethakul. His film debut, which brought him to international attention, was in the role of soldier Keng in the 2004 film *Sud Pralad* (*Tropical Malady*). A non-professional actor at the time of filming, his performance, characterized by a naturalistic and restrained style, was widely praised by critics. The film won the prestigious Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, contributing significantly to his recognition.
