Barry Donnelly
Barry Donnelly is a Northern Irish sculptor from Coalisland, County Tyrone. He is primarily known for his sculptures made from materials such as stone, wood, and bronze, and his work often explores themes related to nature, Celtic heritage, and the human form. His career is characterized by numerous large-scale public commissions, with notable examples including the iconic "Embracing the Tree of Life" in Craigavon and the "Lough Erne Pilgrim." His creations blend a deep knowledge of traditional carving and modeling techniques with a contemporary sensibility. In recognition of his artistic contribution, he was elected a member of the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts (RUA).
