Béatrice Altariba, stage name of Béatrice-Alice-Andrée-Altarriba, is a French actress who was primarily active between the 1950s and 1960s. She made her film debut at a very young age, gaining notice in the drama *L'homme et l'enfant* (1956) and achieving international recognition. Her career developed successfully in both France and Italy, making her a familiar face in genre and auteur films. Her most significant performances include the crime film *Bob le flambeur* (1956) by Jean-Pierre Melville and the film *Le Rouge et le Noir* (1954). In Italy, she starred in Riccardo Freda's *I Vampiri* (1957), considered the progenitor of the Italian gothic horror genre, and acted in numerous co-productions such as *Action immédiate* (1957). Her filmography spans drama, comedy, and crime films, consolidating her image as a versatile and elegant performer.
