Benjamin Siksou
Benjamin Siksou is a multifaceted and charismatic figure on the French cultural scene, who initially emerged as a singer and then established himself with equal success as an actor. Born in Paris in 1987, Siksou won over the general public in 2008 as a finalist on the talent show Nouvelle Star, where his husky voice and soulful, blues-infused performances made him a crowd favorite. Although he did not win the competition, he capitalized on his notoriety to launch a musical career that blends pop, folk, and chanson française, culminating in albums such as Au chant du coq (2017) and Saxoparis (2022). At the same time, he has cultivated a highly respected acting career, demonstrating remarkable sensitivity. He has appeared in several films, distinguishing himself in works such as Largo Winch (2008), Toi, moi, les autres (2010), La Taularde (2015) and, above all, Stéphane Brizé's rigorous adaptation Une vie (2016), consolidating his reputation as a versatile artist capable of navigating intelligently between singer-songwriter music and socially conscious cinema.
