Bernard Tiphaine (Paris, July 29, 1938 – Chalo-Saint-Mars, October 19, 2021) was a French actor, voice actor, and dubbing director. With a career spanning over fifty years, he became one of the most recognizable and acclaimed voices in the French audiovisual landscape. His fame is primarily linked to dubbing, as he was the official and regular French voice for world-renowned actors. He is best known for voicing Chuck Norris in nearly all of his appearances, including the iconic television series *Walker, Texas Ranger*. He also regularly lent his deep and distinctive voice to Christopher Walken, Donald Sutherland, and James Caan, contributing to the success of countless films in France. His versatility also led him to work in animation, voicing characters such as Bender in the series *Futurama*. In addition to his work as a performer, Tiphaine was a prolific dubbing director. His unmistakable voice marked several generations, becoming a point of reference and an integral part of the collective imagination in France.
