Bilge Şen is a Turkish theater, cinema, and television actress, born on January 1, 1944, in Istanbul. A graduate of the Theater Department of the Ankara State Conservatory, she has dedicated most of her career to the Turkish State Theaters (Devlet Tiyatroları), becoming one of the most respected and iconic figures of the country's theater scene. Her extensive artistic work is not limited to the stage but also includes significant roles in films and television series, including the popular *Ferhunde Hanımlar*, as well as an intensive career in voice acting. For her exceptional and enduring contribution to Turkish art and culture, in 1998 she was awarded the prestigious title of State Artist (Devlet Sanatçısı), the highest artistic honor in Turkey. Throughout her long career, she has received numerous other awards and recognitions that attest to her talent and dedication to the art of acting.
