Robert Jordan, known as Bobby Jordan (1923-1965), was an American actor, notable for being one of the original members of the group of actors known as the Dead End Kids. His career took off on Broadway with the stage play *Dead End* (1935), and its success led him to Hollywood for the 1937 film adaptation of the same name. This role established him in the public consciousness, leading him to specialize in portraying tough street kids. He appeared in notable films such as *Angels with Dirty Faces* (1938) and *They Made Me a Criminal* (1939). His primary recognition is linked to his participation as a central figure in the popular East Side Kids and Bowery Boys film series, which cemented his fame with the general public for over a decade. His career declined beginning in the late 1940s, after he left the Bowery Boys.
