Bradley Whitford is an American actor born on October 10, 1959. He is best known for his role as Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman in the hit television series *The West Wing* (1999-2006), a performance for which he won an Emmy Award in 2001 for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
