
Britt Ekland
Britt-Marie Ekland, known as Britt Ekland (Stockholm, October 6, 1942), is a Swedish actress. After moving to London, she achieved international fame following her marriage to actor Peter Sellers, with whom she starred in Vittorio De Sica's *After the Fox* (1966). She consolidated her career in 1970s British cinema, playing roles in cult films such as the gangster movie *Get Carter* (1971) and the horror film *The Wicker Man* (1973). Her most famous role worldwide is that of Bond girl Mary Goodnight in the film *The Man with the Golden Gun* (1974), alongside Roger Moore. In subsequent years, her career has continued primarily in international television and theatre productions. Although she has not received major film awards, she is universally recognized as a pop culture icon and a sex symbol of her decade, whose image is inextricably linked to some of the most representative films of the era.
