Carlos Echevarría is an Argentine film, television, and theatre actor, born in Carcarañá in 1973. He gained international recognition with the film *Garage Olimpo* (1999), but it was his performance in the lead role of Rodrigo Moreno's *El custodio* (2006) that established his career. For this intense and taciturn role, he received significant awards, including the Silver Condor for Best Actor and the award for Best Actor at the Havana Film Festival.
