Caroline Marie Henn (born May 7, 1976) is a former American child actress, universally known for her single film role. She played the role of Rebecca "Newt" Jorden in James Cameron's science fiction film *Aliens* (1986). Chosen for the part with no prior acting experience while living with her family on a military base in England, her performance was critically acclaimed for its intensity and naturalism. For this role, she won the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor and earned a nomination at the Young Artist Awards. After the film's success, Henn decided not to pursue an acting career in order to lead a private life. She completed her studies, graduating in 2000, and became a teacher in California. Although retired from the screen, she occasionally participates in conventions and documentaries related to the *Alien* franchise, maintaining a strong connection to her iconic character.
