Caleb Casey McGuire Affleck, known as Casey Affleck, is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. The younger brother of Ben Affleck, he began his career gaining visibility in films by Gus Van Sant such as *To Die For* (1995) and *Good Will Hunting* (1997), and in the *Ocean's* trilogy. His critical breakthrough came in 2007 with his performance as Robert Ford in *The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford*, which earned him his first Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
