Chang Ki-ha, born in Seoul on February 20, 1982, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, musician, and actor. He is best known as the frontman and main songwriter of the indie rock band Kiha & The Faces (장기하와 얼굴들), active from 2008 to 2018. The group achieved immediate recognition with their debut single "Cheap Coffee" (싸구려 커피), characterized by a musical style that blends rock, folk, and funk with a distinctive, almost-spoken vocal delivery that would become his trademark.

Throughout their decade-long career, the band released five studio albums, garnering widespread critical acclaim. Their debut album, *Living the Carefree Life* (2009), and subsequent works won numerous awards at the prestigious Korean Music Awards, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Rock Album, cementing their status as central figures in the Korean independent music scene. After the band's disbandment, Chang embarked on a solo career and has also published a book of essays, solidifying his status as a multifaceted artist.
