Charlotte Coleman (1968-2001) was a British actress, known for her television and film roles. She began her career as a child in the 1970s and 1980s, gaining popularity in the UK for the television series *Worzel Gummidge* and *Marmalade Atkins*. Her adult career was marked by critically acclaimed performances. In 1990, she played Jess in the BBC miniseries *Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit*, a role that earned her a Royal Television Society Award for Best Actress. Her international fame grew exponentially with her role as Scarlett, the protagonist's eccentric flatmate, in the hit film *Four Weddings and a Funeral* (1994), for which she received a BAFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Her other film credits include *How to Get Ahead in Advertising* (1989) and *The Young Poisoner's Handbook* (1995). Her promising career was cut short by her premature death at the age of 33.
