
Chiara Caselli
Chiara Caselli is an Italian actress, director, and photographer. She made her film debut in the late 1980s, gaining recognition with Francesco Maselli's *Il segreto* (1990), for which she won the Nastro d'Argento for Best Actress. Her career soon became international, with roles in productions such as Gus Van Sant's *My Own Private Idaho* (1991) and *Beyond the Clouds* (1995), directed by Michelangelo Antonioni and Wim Wenders. The peak of her acting career in Italy came with her performance in Liliana Cavani's *Dove siete? Io sono qui* (1993), which earned her the David di Donatello, the Nastro d'Argento, and the Grolla d'oro for Best Actress. Her other significant performances include *Ripley's Game* (2002), also directed by Cavani, and *Il sangue dei vinti* (2008). Alongside her film career, she has developed a significant career as a photographer, exhibiting her work in various exhibitions, and has also directed short films.
