Chieko Nakakita (1926-2005) was a Japanese actress, primarily active in the postwar period and closely associated with Toho Studio. She is best known for her collaborations with director Akira Kurosawa, appearing in significant roles in films such as *One Wonderful Sunday* (1947), *Drunken Angel* (1948), *Stray Dog* (1949), and *Ikiru* (1952).
