
Christian Baltauss
Christian Baltauss is a French actor, primarily active in film and television since the 1970s. He achieved considerable popularity in Italy thanks to his work in genre cinema, particularly through his collaboration with director Dario Argento. His most iconic and internationally recognized role is that of the writer Peter Neal, the protagonist of the giallo film *Tenebre* (1982). Prior to this performance, he had already distinguished himself in the Italian thriller genre with Alberto Negrin's *Enigma Rosso* (1978). In France, his career includes significant collaborations, appearing alongside Jean-Paul Belmondo in crime films such as *Flic ou voyou* (1979) and *Le Professionnel* (1981).
