Christiane Maybach (born Christiane Müller, Berlin, March 14, 1932 – Cologne, April 12, 2006) was a German actress whose career spanned theatre, film, and television. After starting her career on the stage, she made her film debut in the mid-1950s, becoming a well-known face in West German cinema. She played roles of elegant and self-confident women in numerous films, including *Mädchen ohne Grenzen* (1955) and the famous war film *Die Brücke* (1959). Her popularity grew enormously thanks to television, particularly for her role as Magda Färber in the highly successful series *Drei Damen vom Grill* (1977-1991) and her appearance in *Praxis Bülowbogen*. In 1975, for her significant contribution to German cinema, she was awarded the prestigious *Filmband in Gold* award for her lifetime achievement.
