**Clark Gable (1901-1960)** was one of the most iconic actors of Hollywood's Golden Age, nicknamed the "King of Hollywood." Known for his irresistible charisma and straightforward masculinity, he embodied the prototype of the charming and sometimes rebellious "leading man."

His career peaked in the 1930s and 1940s. He won the Academy Award for Best Actor for the romantic comedy **"It Happened One Night" (1934)**, which cemented his status. However, his most famous role remains that of Rhett Butler in the epic **"Gone with the Wind" (1939)**, for which he received another nomination.

Among his other significant films are **"Mutiny on the Bounty" (1935)** and his last work, **"The Misfits" (1961)**, alongside Marilyn Monroe. Gable is remembered as a symbol of virility and charm, defining an era of American cinema.
