Clyde Lee
Clyde Wayne Lee, born on March 14, 1944, is a former American professional basketball player who played in the NBA as a center and power forward. His career first gained prominence at the collegiate level with the Vanderbilt Commodores, where he was named Southeastern Conference (SEC) Player of the Year and an All-American in 1966, later having his jersey number retired by the university. Selected as the third overall pick in the 1966 NBA Draft by the San Francisco Warriors, Lee spent the majority of his ten-year career with the franchise. Known for his physicality and strong rebounding skills, he was selected for the 1968 NBA All-Star Game. The highlight of his career was winning the 1975 NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors, where he contributed as a solid rotation player. He concluded his professional career after brief stints with the Atlanta Hawks and the Philadelphia 76ers, retiring in 1976.
