
Daniel Brière
Daniel Brière is a Canadian ice hockey executive and former professional player who played as a center. Drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 1996 NHL Draft, he rose to prominence with the Buffalo Sabres, where he served as co-captain and was named MVP of the 2007 NHL All-Star Game. His career is primarily associated with the Philadelphia Flyers, with whom he reached the Stanley Cup Final in 2010, establishing himself as one of the league's most clutch players in the playoffs. He also played for the Montreal Canadiens and the Colorado Avalanche before retiring. Internationally, he won two consecutive gold medals with Canada at the World Championships (2003, 2004). After his playing career, he began a career in management, becoming the General Manager of the Philadelphia Flyers in 2023.
