
Daniel Kaluuya
Daniel Kaluuya is a British actor born in London on February 24, 1989, to Ugandan parents. He began his career in British television, gaining recognition in the series *Skins*, for which he also contributed as a writer, and for his acclaimed performance in the *Black Mirror* episode "Fifteen Million Merits." His international breakthrough came in 2017 with his leading role in Jordan Peele's horror film *Get Out*, which earned him his first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He subsequently starred in highly successful productions such as *Black Panther* (2018), *Widows* (2018), and *Nope* (2022), solidifying his reputation for intense and charismatic performances. In 2021, he portrayed activist Fred Hampton in the film *Judas and the Black Messiah*, a performance for which he won the Academy Award, Golden Globe, BAFTA, and Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Supporting Actor.
