Daphne Goodfellow (1940-2020) was a British artist, known primarily as a painter and printmaker. Trained at the prestigious Slade School of Fine Art in London, she dedicated her career to the depiction of the British rural landscape, with a particular focus on the effects of light and atmosphere. Her works, created predominantly in oil painting and etching, capture the beauty of places such as the Cotswolds, Wales, and the coasts of Great Britain, in a figurative and traditional style.
