
David Warner
David Warner (Manchester, July 29, 1941 – London, July 24, 2022) was a British actor, known for his imposing stage presence, deep voice, and an eclectic career in theatre, film, and television. He began his career with the Royal Shakespeare Company, where he distinguished himself with his portrayal of Hamlet in 1965. His film debut in *Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment* (1966) earned him a BAFTA nomination. His extensive filmography includes memorable roles such as the photographer Keith Jennings in *The Omen* (1976), the program Sark in *Tron* (1982), the valet Spicer Lovejoy in *Titanic* (1997), and several appearances in the *Star Trek* universe, notably as Chancellor Gorkon. For his performance in the television miniseries *Masada* (1981), he won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor. He was also an acclaimed voice actor, lending his voice to numerous characters in animated series and video games.
