He began his career at Marvel Comics before becoming a key figure at Top Cow Productions, an imprint of Image Comics, where he served as editor-in-chief. During this period, he co-created highly successful series such as *Witchblade*, *The Darkness*, and *Aphrodite IX*, which defined the publisher's aesthetic and editorial direction in the 1990s. Subsequently, he expanded his work into the film and television sectors, working as an executive producer.
