Debra Paget, born Debralee Griffin (Denver, August 19, 1933), is an American actress and dancer, active primarily during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Her career took off with the western *Broken Arrow* (1950), where she portrayed an Apache princess alongside James Stewart. She became one of 20th Century-Fox's leading stars, known for her roles in historical epics and exotic adventure films, which often showcased her dancing skills. Her most memorable performances include Lilia in Cecil B. DeMille's *The Ten Commandments* (1956) and the female lead in *Love Me Tender* (1956), Elvis Presley's debut film. Her filmography also includes *Princess of the Nile* (1954) and Fritz Lang's German films *The Tiger of Eschnapur* and *The Indian Tomb* (1959). She retired from acting in 1964. Although she did not win any major awards, her name remains associated with some of the biggest productions of the 1950s, consolidating her status as a cinematic icon of the era.
