Dedi Ristori, born in Fauglia (Pisa) in 1941, is an Italian painter and sculptor, and a prominent figure in the field of geometric abstraction and kinetic art. His artistic career began in the 1960s, a period when he was among the founders of the Gruppo Atoma in Livorno and joined the "Pittura Oggetto" (Object Painting) movement. His work is characterized by a rigorous exploration of the circle, a symbol explored in countless chromatic and compositional variations to generate effects of dynamism and perceptual vibration. His works, which range from paintings on canvas to three-dimensional sculptures in materials such as methacrylate, investigate the interaction between form, color, light, and movement.
