Delia Scala (born Odette Bedogni; 1929-2004) was an Italian actress, dancer, and showgirl, considered one of the most important figures in post-war entertainment. Trained as a classical ballerina at the Teatro alla Scala Ballet School, she made her film debut at a very young age. However, she achieved her greatest success in musical comedy, starring in shows by Garinei and Giovannini such as *Buonanotte Bettina* with Walter Chiari and the famous *Rinaldo in campo* alongside Domenico Modugno. She reached the peak of her popularity on television, establishing herself as the first great soubrette of the small screen and hosting landmark editions of shows like *Canzonissima* and *Studio Uno*. A complete artist, capable of acting, singing, and dancing with exceptional talent, she received important awards, including the Maschera d'Argento. Her style and professionalism defined an era, making her an unforgettable icon of Italian variety shows.
