Dhia Cristiani (Dovadola, May 27, 1921 – Rome, July 17, 1977) was an actress and one of the most important Italian voice actresses of the 20th century. Her versatile and refined voice became the official one for Hollywood stars of the caliber of Bette Davis, Olivia de Havilland, Ingrid Bergman, Katharine Hepburn, and Rita Hayworth, linking her vocal performance to the image of these actresses for the Italian audience. Her contribution to animated cinema is also unforgettable, where she lent her voice to the Blue Fairy in *Pinocchio* (1940) and the Fairy Godmother in *Cinderella* (1950). Parallel to her voice work, she pursued a career as a film actress, appearing in films such as *Fari nella nebbia* (1942) and *Una signora dell'Ovest* (1942). For her exceptional and fundamental contribution to voice acting, she was posthumously awarded a special Nastro d'Argento in 1993, as a testament to her role in the history of Italian cinema.
