Didier De Neck, born in Etterbeek, is a Belgian actor, author, and theatre director, considered one of the leading figures in French-speaking theatre for young audiences (théâtre jeune public). A co-founder of the Théâtre de la Galafronie company in 1978, he has created highly successful international productions. His most celebrated works include *Le Sablier*, *Le Bâton de pluie*, and *Les Mains de mon père*, productions that explore universal themes such as time, memory, and family bonds with poetic sensitivity. His career is not limited to the stage; he has also acted in numerous film and television productions, appearing in films by directors such as the Dardenne brothers (*Le Fils*) and Jaco Van Dormael.
