
Dinah Manoff
Dinah Manoff is an American actress born in New York City, the daughter of actress and director Lee Grant and screenwriter Arnold Manoff. Her career spans film, television, and theatre, earning her accolades in all three fields. She is widely known to audiences for her role as Marty Maraschino in the cult film *Grease* (1978). In 1980, she won the prestigious Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her acclaimed performance in Neil Simon's play *I Ought to Be in Pictures*. Her filmography also includes roles in notable works such as the Oscar-winning drama *Ordinary People* (1980) and the horror film *Child's Play* (1988). On television, her most celebrated role is that of Carol Weston, which she played for seven seasons in the popular sitcom *Empty Nest*, a spin-off of *The Golden Girls*.
