
Dmytro Milyutenko
Dmytro Omelyanovych Milyutenko (Slovianoserbsk, February 21, 1899 – Tashkent, January 25, 1966) was a Ukrainian and Soviet theater and film actor. He began his career at the celebrated Berezil theater under the direction of Les Kurbas, later becoming a leading figure at the Ivan Franko National Academic Theater in Kyiv from 1936. His film career includes prominent roles in films directed by Oleksandr Dovzhenko, such as *Ivan* (1932) and *Shchors* (1939). He also portrayed memorable characters in successful films like *Secret Agent* (1947) and *Taras Shevchenko* (1951), consolidating his fame throughout the Soviet Union. For his extensive artistic contributions, he was awarded the prestigious title of People's Artist of the USSR in 1960 and received the Stalin Prize in 1948 for his performance in the film *Secret Agent*.
