Doğan Turan (Sivas, 1970) is a Turkish-born Italian cartoonist and illustrator who lives and works in Milan. His career is marked by prestigious collaborations with major national and international publications, including *La Repubblica*, *L'Espresso*, *Il Fatto Quotidiano*, *The New York Times*, *The Guardian*, and *Le Monde*. His style, recognizable for its concise linework and strong conceptual impact, addresses current political and social issues with sharp satire, with a particular focus on human rights, freedom of expression, and migration. Among his most notable works is the graphic novel "Catafalco".
