Doğan Turan (Sivas, 1970) is a Turkish-born Italian cartoonist and illustrator who lives and works in Milan. His career is marked by prestigious collaborations with major national and international publications, including *La Repubblica*, *L'Espresso*, *Il Fatto Quotidiano*, *The New York Times*, *The Guardian*, and *Le Monde*. His style, recognizable for its concise linework and strong conceptual impact, addresses current political and social issues with sharp satire, with a particular focus on human rights, freedom of expression, and migration. Among his most notable works is the graphic novel "Catafalco". His artistic work has earned him numerous major awards, such as the Forte dei Marmi Prize for Political Satire and several awards at the World Press Cartoon, solidifying his reputation as one of the most incisive voices in contemporary satirical cartooning.
