
Doris Kenyon
Doris Kenyon was an American actress and singer whose career spanned from the silent film era to the television era. After making her debut on the Broadway stage, she established herself as a leading silent film star, achieving international fame with the film "Monsieur Beaucaire" (1924), in which she starred alongside Rudolph Valentino. With the advent of sound, her training as a singer enabled her to make a successful transition, continuing to work in notable productions such as "Voltaire" (1933) with George Arliss and "Counsellor at Law" (1933) with John Barrymore. Her filmography includes over seventy films. In later years, her work extended to radio and early television productions, demonstrating remarkable artistic longevity. For her contribution to the motion picture industry, she was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
