Drew Barrymore is an American actress, producer, director, and television host, a member of the celebrated Barrymore acting dynasty. She achieved worldwide fame at the age of seven for her role as Gertie in Steven Spielberg's film *E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial* (1982).
