Du Verron, the pseudonym of Duccio Vettori, is an Italian comic artist and illustrator known for his distinctive graphic style, characterized by meticulous, detailed, and often grotesque line work. His career took off in the late 1970s, establishing himself as one of the leading figures of Italian art comics through collaborations with pivotal magazines such as *Frigidaire*, *Il Male*, and *Linus*. Among his most significant works are the collections *Cattive Abitudini* and *Zigo Zago*, considered masterpieces for their visual and narrative power. He has also created stories such as *Il segreto di San Donato* and contributed to series like *Lazarus Ledd*, demonstrating great versatility. His talent has been widely recognized: in 1990 he received the Yellow Kid Award for Best Italian Artist and in 1999, the Gran Guinigi Award at Lucca Comics & Games, again for Best Artist, consolidating his status as a master of Italian comics.
