
Eduardo Noriega
Eduardo Noriega Gómez is a Spanish actor born in Santander on October 25, 1973. He achieved international fame through his collaboration with director Alejandro Amenábar, first with the debut thriller *Tesis* (1996) and then with the leading role in *Abre los ojos* (1997). For this performance, he received his first Goya Award nomination for Best Actor. His career continued with roles in major Spanish productions, including Guillermo del Toro's *The Devil's Backbone* (2001) and *The Method* (2005). Established as one of the most recognized actors in his country, Noriega has also worked in international productions, such as the American thriller *Vantage Point* (2008) and the action film *The Last Stand* (2013), alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.
